Ok so once upon a time I was really freaked out by space. I mean, it is huge. Like really, really huge.
One time my roommate made me watch this video and it really freaked me out.
The weird thing now is that I find it kind of comforting, thinking about the space between atoms and planets and galaxies and clusters. Everything is relative, I guess.
Ok so my main point here is that this whole thing, everything, it all came from one mega giant creative process. The Big Bang. That’s pretty rad, right? Like we are all made out of star bits and dust and whatever else came out of this mega huge explosion. So I guess that is what motivates me with regard to making things happen. It is pretty amazing when you think about it.
I have some plans. So far right now, it’s just a blog, but there are other things in the works, so I really hope you’ll continue to check back. Also, I like comments. Even if you want to just be a jerk, that’s cool, let me know. I think it is important that we don’t get too full of ourselves or take ourselves too seriously.
Ok so long story short, here is a thing about me. 27 years old. Living in Vancouver. Ridiculous. I like to look like a rainbow threw up on me. Currently employed at eBay. Soon to be Textile Art student at Capilano U (I’m doing it backwards – I already tried to get a “useful” degree and then a “useful” certificate.) I just want to make things. I like puppies and rainbows and magic.
