Last weekend a thing happened where the landlord was coming to fix a mould problem in our closet, so Gypsy and I went to the dog beach with Val, Sean and Zoe.
At first I was kinda nervous about letting her go off-leash, but Val was like “Tams, this dog listens to you, it will be ok”. And it was ok!
She made friends with an English bulldog named Simon. He was pretty determined to catch her but she is too fast for life.
Gypsy did try to battle Zoe a few times but they seem to be getting better. She is possessive and gets all uppity when I try to love other dogs, so that is something we are working on.
A lot of running around happened and it was delightful because it resulted in this:
A tired dog is a happy dog, and also a happy Tams! Seriously, puppies are hard work. It is really funny to me that Anxiety Tams ended up with Anxiety puppy. We have been working on getting her used to strangers, both of the human and dog varieties. We have also been walking on busy streets, which is not a thing that I normally like to do, but she needs to get over it.

can I come with you to the dog beach next time? watching dogs play is basically the best thing in life.
