After I got home from school I was real tired, so I took a nap and when when Tremaine woke me up I got real crabby. We needed to pick up some stuff for dinner but neither of us wanted to go out. So to make it fair we both went to Safeway and then I was happy I made myself go because it was beautiful outside.
On the way back it started raining a bit, not the yucky Vancouver winter awful rain but the magical warm spring rain. So good. I could smell ozone in parts and flowers, so on the way home I kept stopping to sniff and finally Maine told me if I wasn’t careful I was going to hyperventilate. Ooops.
We had green eggs and ham for dinner. It was pretty alright. Sometimes I just need breakfast for dinner. (Green eggs = scrambled with pesto, delicious!) Now I am just flipping between the Detroit – Phoenix game and the Colorado – San Jose game.
On Monday in Art History we watched a video about Andy Goldsworthy and it was so good. I even requested it from the library so I can make Maine watch it. Here are some clips from the Youtubes.
Oh also in my design class we are working on our last project, which is to deconstruct a t-shirt based on a fairy tale and then put it back together. I am doing Bluebeard, because I am awesome.
Basically it is a beard… bag. It is still in progress though. But I thought I’d give you a peek. I also felted a red key and some blood drops. I am going to add some mustache matching roving to the beard part as well. Probably I will dye it more blue also. High five!
I don’t know why this is so funny to me.
A really magical thing is happening called SPRING. I feel like a human again. Everything smells fantastic, and tonight we had to go pick up cat litter and we passed these delightfully fluffy cherry blossoms, so I rubbed my face in them. Then Maine said I was gross and had bugs on me but I don’t even care.
He is rude that way.
Like you wouldn’t rub your face in those.
Yesterday we walked down Commercial so I could return the one million* books I took out to write my Art History paper.
It felt pretty good to get some air, and to not be cold.
I just liked this poster.
Last Friday we started our overshot samplers in my weaving class. Side note: Do you think maybe Starbucks should sponsor my blog? That is two product placement shots already!
I screwed up and did a ten dent reed instead of twelve. Oops. I am doing the Mary Ann Ostrander pattern. Apparently it is kind of hard, but I have been doing ok. I went up early to work on it on Monday and I am almost done.
I have been playing the Sims when I want to procrastinate so hard. The other day my lady started dating a lady named Tamara. Then one day Tamara came over and she had aged up to an elder, so I decided to get them married before it was too late. This is right after they got married. I thought it was hilariously appropriate.
This is the real video. I think this will be my wedding. The crazy gypsy part, not the boring part. And also Eugene, he should be there.
Sometimes I take the sea bus home. For fun.
*actually it was only 6 books but they were real heavy
