This morning we woke up for no reason at 6 am. WHY? Already Maine is playing some shooting game and it is loud and I don’t like it.
Maine shaved off his gross mustache. I am both happy and sad about it.
Anyways I wanted to tell you that someone combined two things that I love, and it resulted in this:
So for my Art History class we have to do a thing where we review a show at a gallery and then compare one piece to some others and blab about it a lot. So I went to the Monsters and Robots show at the Ayden gallery.
I had to convince the guy to let me take pictures just so I could write about it (so I did not have to rely on my shady memory), which is kind of silly because I found pictures on the internet, so clearly they already let people take pictures, but whatever. I don’t want them getting mad at me for posting them so how about you just Google ‘em.
After we arted, we went to T&T which is super exciting for me for many reasons.
First of all I do not even know where else you can get marinated pig’s ear or black fungus.
Even better you can get marinated mystery food!
They also have an amazing selection of rice cookers. I am certain some of these are more advanced than my computer machine.
Maine found panda cookies so I had to buy them right away.
He admired some cakes but we did not buy any.
We thought about buying these cause of the cute guy on the front but when we figured out it was dried spicy beans the interest wore off.
I had to admire the Pocky aisle. I liked it when they had Pocky for Men and I would buy it just to be like HA HA POCKY YOU ARE NOT THE BOSS OF ME!
Actually there were a lot of snack foods we considered but then decided not to buy. We are trying to be responsible. This was spicy chicken flavoured seaweed.
Yeah, I don’t get it either.
Look he’s like a proud new father!
He really wanted to buy it but it was like a $13 slab of meat and I am pretty sure it is more meat than we ever need to own.
This terrifies me more than you’ll ever know.
Oh also at Wild Ginger they have a special for all you can drink if you order dinner but I am not sure it is a great deal.
Cause they also have $3 beer so you would have to drink at least 12 if you are a lady for it to be worthwhile to get the all you can drink.

they have one of those fancy chinese supermarkets here in ottawa now, out near the airport, but that is pretty far so i haven’t been yet.
maybe i will go this weekend?

I so very much wish that that was a true mash up of those two songs instead of just playing over the video. Someone who could achieve that would be worshipped for all time because they would clearly have to have god-like powers to manage such a feat.
Also, that monsters and robots at the gallery looks AWESOME. I hope you had the funs while you were doing your homework
Also, that slab of meat was only $13? That seems actually cheap. However, referring to him as a father of such a thing made me think of the meat as baby. Baby meat. I almost cried.

maine’s meat baby makes me nervous…

It is probably best to just get the $3 beers, less chance of embarassment due to drunkenness. Part of me looked at that and went “mmm, Grandville Island is kind of worth it” and then I remembered that getting drunk in a restaurant probably isn’t a good idea.
