edit – I just disabled comments on that post. I swear I have received like 20 spam comments today alone. I wonder if the Russians are clever enough to try spamming a different post?

MASH

I super super super want to see this movie <3

There was a thunderstorm tonight and it was super beautiful and made everything smell amazing. I wonder if storms would lose their magic if they happened all the time?

So today a thing happened where I met Val after she was done work, and we took the sea bus and then another bus to West Vancouver to go to Fabricland.

This was possibly a bad idea for our wallets, but I actually showed quite a bit of restraint I think.

Unfortunately we were out so late that I’m not able to show you day time photos of my new fabrics but oh well.

I am going to make a bag. A large bag. Not unlike this bag.

The flower stuff will be for the lining and I maybe also bought enough to make a dress…

This will also be a dress:

And this plaid will be a magnificent dress. Magnificent! It was 75% off, so I got 4 metres for like $8. Yay! It will be soooo poufy!

We had date night dinner at Milestones afterwards, and then came home late enough that I was concerned we were going to get stuck in the crowds of people coming from the fireworks. We were just ahead of them, probably by minutes. It was a bit of an accomplishment, really.

Then I came home to these two secret cuddling. (Sitting together this close is not a normal thing unless biting is involved. Boys.)
